A simple to-do list built into Shifti. Tasks is self-hosted-only — Shifti Cloud doesn't have it — and it's still Beta, meaning it may change or disappear at any time.

Your own tasks

Any employee can create a task for themselves and mark it complete — no permission needed for that.

Claiming an open task

Some tasks are left unassigned and marked claimable — anyone eligible can pick one up rather than waiting to be assigned it directly.

Assigning a task to someone else

Assigning a task to someone other than yourself, making one claimable, or scoping it to a location or position all require a separate permission — if you don't see those options, that means you don't currently hold it. See the admin guide for the Manager/Admin side of Tasks.
