License & billing

This is the one Admin-only tab that works genuinely differently between the two products — it's worth knowing which one you have.

Self-hosted: the License tab

Once a license key is applied (env var + restart — see Install), Settings → License shows your current status (active, in the outage grace period, or locked), seats used vs. your max, your expiry date, and a copyable instance ID worth having on hand if you contact us about your license.

Shifti Cloud: the Billing tab

Settings → Billing is read-only — it shows your status (Active, Grace period, or Locked), plan, seats (active vs. max), and renewal or expiry date. There's nothing to edit here directly: to change your plan, seat count, or payment details, email [email protected].
